Specifications and Package

Installation and Compatibility

Connect to a compatible IP CCTV network or NVR. Confirm recording, mounting and power requirements. Recorder, storage and cabling are separate unless explicitly included.

4K monitoring with active audio and light warning

This 4mm AcuSense turret combines detailed imaging with an active response to selected events. The fixed lens gives a more focused view than a 2.8mm option, making it useful for a defined entrance or access lane.

Additional product features

• 8MP image detail
• Fixed 4mm lens and up to 30m IR illumination
• AcuSense human and vehicle classification
• 120dB wide dynamic range
• Built-in microphone, two-way audio and strobe warning on the IS2U/SL camera
• H.265+ compression and IP67 protection

Getting the best recording results

Aim the camera so important subjects occupy enough of the image for the detail you need. Avoid pointing directly at bright lights and keep nearby walls or eaves out of the illumination path to reduce reflections at night. Configure recording schedules, event zones and notifications for the site. Detection accuracy and low-light image quality depend on mounting, lighting and settings.

H.265+ can reduce storage use on supported recorders, but retention time still depends on resolution, frame rate, bitrate, scene activity and hard-drive capacity. Night-vision distances are maximum illumination ratings, not guaranteed identification distances.

Planning your installation

Set a targeted detection zone around the approach and verify two-way audio and deterrence controls with the chosen recorder. Contact Nepean Micro Computers in Penrith for help matching the camera to your Hikvision NVR and mounting setup.
