Hikvision CCTV Cameras, Kits & Recorders
HIKVISION AT NEPEAN MICRO COMPUTERS
Build a CCTV system around the areas you need to see
Compare Hikvision IP cameras, wired CCTV kits and network video recorders for homes, shops and commercial sites. Choose a complete kit or match individual cameras to the coverage you need.
Choose your starting point
Hikvision IP cameras
Choose the lens and night vision for each location. AcuSense helps classify people and vehicles on supported models, while ColorVu is designed to capture colour in low light.
- 8MP AcuSense 4mm mini bullet for a more focused driveway or gate view.
- 8MP ColorVu 3.0 turret for wide coverage with active light and audio warnings.
- 8MP motorised varifocal bullet when you need to adjust the frame during setup.
Wired CCTV kits
Start with cameras and a recorder in one package. Compare camera count, included storage and spare channels.
- 2-camera 6MP ColorVu kit for a small setup with room to add cameras.
- 4-camera 6MP AcuSense kit with turret cameras and 2TB storage.
- 8-camera 6MP AcuSense kit with 4mm bullet cameras and 4TB storage.
PoE recorders and storage
A network video recorder (NVR) stores footage from compatible IP cameras. Built-in PoE ports can carry power and data to compatible cameras over the same cable.
- 8-channel M-Series NVR without a drive if you want to choose the storage separately.
- 8-channel M-Series NVR with 2TB for an included recording drive.
- 8-channel M-Series NVR with 4TB for more storage capacity.
Three things to check before you buy
- Plan the view at each camera. A wider lens suits general coverage. A tighter lens puts more of the image on a specific gate or doorway. Check how the scene is lit after dark.
- Match the camera and recorder. Check resolution, bandwidth and PoE power. Confirm that your exact recorder and firmware support the camera’s alerts, audio and deterrence controls where needed.
- Size storage and leave room to grow. Count recording channels and PoE ports separately. The amount of footage you can keep depends on camera count, recording mode, resolution and bitrate.
What’s the difference between AcuSense and ColorVu?
AcuSense helps filter configured detection events by people and vehicles on supported models. ColorVu is designed to retain colour detail in low light. Some cameras offer both, and Smart Hybrid Light models may offer infrared, white light and automatic switching depending on the model and settings.
