Three things to check before you buy
- Match the exact model numbers. Check the labels on the camera and recorder. Concord has different system generations, so confirm support for the camera resolution, motion alerts and deterrent lights you want to use.
- Plan the camera views. Cover entrances and likely approach paths first. A wide view shows more of the property, while tighter framing helps at a gate or doorway. Check how the scene looks after dark.
- Allow for storage and expansion. Count how many cameras you need today and how many you might add. Recording time depends on camera count, bitrate, drive size and whether you record continuously or on events.
Can I reuse my existing cameras or cabling?
If your cameras use Ethernet, confirm the replacement recorder supports their exact models. If they use coax, check the video format before choosing a replacement. On some Concord V3 systems, cameras may need their connection settings restored after a reset. Have the recorder and camera model numbers handy before changing settings.
