IVSEC CCTV Cameras, Kits & Recorders
IVSEC AT NEPEAN MICRO COMPUTERS
Choose the right CCTV for your property
Compare IVSEC security cameras, wired CCTV kits and recorders for homes, shops and commercial sites. Start with a kit for a new installation, or check your existing recorder before adding or replacing a camera.
Choose your starting point
IVSEC IP cameras
Pick a camera for what you need to see at each location, from a wide view under the eaves to a tighter view of a gate.
- 850D 8MP 4K dome for entrances and general coverage.
- 850B 8MP 4K bullet for driveways and perimeter views.
- NC522XA 8MP PoE PTZ for remote aiming and adjustable framing.
Wired CCTV kits
Start with a recorder and cameras in one package. Compare the number of included cameras, recorder channels and storage.
- 4-camera 4K dome kit with an 8-channel PoE recorder and 2TB drive.
- 4-camera 4K bullet kit with an 8-channel recorder and 2TB drive.
- IVK-55B 12MP kit with four cameras, an 8-channel PoE recorder and 4TB storage.
Recorders and upgrades
Choose a network video recorder (NVR) for compatible IP cameras. If you are keeping existing coax cameras, check their video format before choosing a DVR.
- NR308XD 8-channel PoE NVR with 2TB for compatible wired IP cameras.
- NR308XD with 4TB storage when you need more recording capacity.
- DVR8-5000 hybrid recorder for compatible coax upgrades. Check exact camera models first.
Three things to check before you buy
- Plan the camera views. A wide view is useful for seeing movement across a yard. A tighter view helps when you need more detail at a gate, till or doorway. Check the scene after dark as well as during the day.
- Match the camera to the recorder. Check camera resolution, recorder bandwidth and whether features such as people and vehicle alerts, two-way audio and active deterrence work with your exact model and firmware.
- Allow for power, storage and expansion. Power over Ethernet (PoE) carries power and data over one cable. Check the available PoE ports, per-port power and total power budget. Recording time depends on drive size, camera count and recording settings.
Can I reuse my existing cabling?
If you have Ethernet cabling, check its condition and confirm the cameras and recorder support the planned network setup. If the existing cameras use coax, identify their video format before selecting a hybrid DVR or moving to an IP system.
