Discreet black turret with intelligent detection

The black finish suits dark ceilings, fascias and other locations where a white camera would be more conspicuous. Its fixed wide-angle view and integrated microphone provide video and sound from a single mounting point.

• Fixed 2.8mm lens
• AcuSense human and vehicle classification
• DarkFighter imaging with 120dB WDR

Getting the best recording results

Aim the camera so important subjects occupy enough of the image for the detail you need. Avoid pointing directly at bright lights and keep nearby walls or eaves out of the illumination path to reduce reflections at night. Configure recording schedules, event zones and notifications for the site. Detection accuracy and low-light image quality depend on mounting, lighting and settings.

H.265+ can reduce storage use on supported recorders, but retention time still depends on resolution, frame rate, bitrate, scene activity and hard-drive capacity. Night-vision distances are maximum illumination ratings, not guaranteed identification distances.

Planning your installation

Choose the 2.8mm lens where coverage across the scene is the priority. Confirm audio recording is enabled on the recorder if required. Contact Nepean Micro Computers in Penrith for help matching the camera to your Hikvision NVR and mounting setup.
