Technical Specifications

Hikvision AcuSense – Intelligent Human and Vehicle Detection

The Hikvision DS-2CD2T66G2H-2I features advanced AcuSense intelligent detection technology.

Unlike conventional motion detection systems that can trigger alerts from moving trees, animals or changes in lighting, AcuSense uses intelligent classification to distinguish people and vehicles from other movement.

This provides more relevant surveillance notifications and makes reviewing security events easier when used with compatible Hikvision NVRs.

DarkFighter Technology – Excellent Low-Light Performance

Powered by Hikvision's DarkFighter imaging technology, the camera provides impressive colour image quality in low-light environments.

With a minimum illumination rating of 0.001 Lux at F1.0, the camera is designed to capture useful colour images where ambient lighting is limited.

When lighting becomes insufficient, the built-in infrared illumination provides black-and-white night vision up to 60 metres.

Wide 114.8° Viewing Angle

The fixed 2.8mm lens provides a wide field of view, making this camera particularly suitable for:

• Residential driveways and front yards

• Commercial building entrances

• Warehouses and loading docks

• Car parks and business premises

• Outdoor property surveillance

• Shopfronts and building perimeters

The 114.8° horizontal field of view provides broad coverage while retaining detailed 6MP imaging.

60 Metre Infrared Night Vision

The camera features built-in infrared illumination with a manufacturer-rated range of up to 60 metres.

This makes it suitable for monitoring outdoor areas where conventional shorter-range CCTV cameras may provide insufficient illumination.

Actual night-vision performance depends on installation height, camera angle, weather conditions and the environment being monitored.

Power over Ethernet – Easy Installation

The DS-2CD2T66G2H-2I supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing power and network data to travel through a single Ethernet cable.

Connect the camera to a compatible Hikvision PoE NVR or PoE network switch for a simplified installation.

Hikvision NVR Compatibility

This camera is suitable for use with compatible Hikvision IP network video recorders supporting 6MP IP cameras.

Compatible recorder families include selected Hikvision 4-channel, 8-channel and 16-channel PoE NVR systems.

For best results, confirm NVR firmware, camera resolution support and intelligent-event compatibility before installation.
