ePTZ provides electronic viewing functions; this is a fixed panoramic camera. Recorder functions depend on compatibility.

Panoramic Coverage in Practice

A 180° horizontal and 86° vertical view suits broad frontages, open yards and driveways. The two 2.8mm F1.4 lenses combine into one panoramic stream, providing an overview without moving the camera. Electronic PTZ enlarges parts of that image; it is not motorised pan, tilt or optical zoom.

Lighting, Sound and Image Control

• Two infrared LEDs provide up to 25m illumination.
• Twin warm-white LEDs provide up to 20m visible illumination.
• Event-triggered spotlight, red/blue strobe and programmable siren warning.
• Built-in microphone and loudspeaker for two-way talk, plus external audio input/output.

• H.265 encoding to help manage bandwidth and recording storage.

Recorder Planning

Confirm support for the 4096 × 1860 stream and the camera’s intelligent events. The panoramic output is one channel, but advanced ePTZ and search features depend on the NVR.

Setting Up Active Deterrence

Configure detection zones around the areas you want to protect and test them with people and vehicles before enabling warning actions. Choose lighting and siren schedules to suit the site, and check night footage at the intended subject distances.

Advanced search, event filtering and alarm linkage depend on the recorder model, firmware and configuration. Confirm these functions when adding the camera to an existing NVR. A memory card, where used, is sold separately; recording retention depends on bitrate and schedule.

Panoramic Detail and System Planning

DORI distances are planning estimates; verify real identification detail with subjects at the expected distance. The wide image is useful for an overview, while closer identification may require another camera aimed at a specific entry point.

Check recorder support for the panoramic stream and configure audio, event rules and warning schedules during commissioning. Test both daylight and night recordings, and keep all external connections inside suitable weatherproof fittings.
