Technical Specifications

PoE+ Power for CCTV Cameras and Network Devices

The Grandstream GWN7700P features four PoE+ ports capable of delivering up to 30W per port, subject to the switch's total PoE power budget.

This allows compatible devices to receive both network data and electrical power through a single Ethernet cable, reducing installation complexity.

Compatible PoE Applications

• IP CCTV security cameras

• Grandstream wireless access points

• VoIP desk telephones

• SIP video intercoms

• Compatible PoE network equipment

The switch is particularly useful for small CCTV installations requiring up to four compatible PoE cameras connected to a network video recorder or existing network.

Important: The switch has four PoE+ output ports and one standard Gigabit Ethernet port. The total available PoE budget must be considered when selecting connected devices.

Ideal for CCTV and Security Systems

The GWN7700P provides a simple way to expand an IP CCTV network without purchasing a larger managed switch.

It is suitable for connecting compatible IP cameras from manufacturers such as:

• Hikvision

• HiLook

• IVSEC

• Grandstream

• Other manufacturers using standard IEEE 802.3af/at PoE

The switch can be connected to an existing network or compatible NVR through its standard Gigabit Ethernet port.

Camera compatibility depends on the camera's PoE requirements, power consumption and network configuration.

Plug-and-Play Gigabit Networking

The GWN7700P is an unmanaged network switch, meaning no special software or technical configuration is required for normal operation.

Each Ethernet port automatically negotiates the connected device's speed, supporting 10Mbps, 100Mbps and 1000Mbps connections.

Auto MDI/MDIX technology automatically detects Ethernet cable connections, eliminating the need for crossover cables.

Energy-Efficient Networking

Grandstream's green networking technology helps reduce power consumption while maintaining reliable Gigabit Ethernet connectivity.

The compact design makes the GWN7700P suitable for installations where space and power efficiency are important.
