Technical specifications

Installation and compatibility

Check recorder compatibility, mounting requirements and the correct power supply before installation. Detection and tracking functions require suitable configuration. Illumination distances are maximum ratings; actual visibility depends on the scene and weather. Recording storage, network services and optional mounting accessories are separate unless stated.

Panoramic coverage and close-up detail

The fixed panoramic channel keeps the overall scene visible while the PTZ channel follows activity or inspects a smaller area. This is useful for yards, car parks and commercial entrances where a zoomed view alone can lose the wider context.

Additional product features

• 6MP panoramic image: 3632 × 1632
• 4MP PTZ image: 2560 × 1440
• 25× optical zoom with a 4.8–120mm PTZ lens
• Approximately 180° panoramic horizontal coverage
• PTZ infrared illumination up to 100m; panoramic white light up to 30m

PTZ installation and recording

Mount the camera on a suitable bracket and structurally secure surface with clearance for its full movement. Set presets around important areas so operators can return to useful views quickly. Optical zoom narrows the field of view; a longer illumination rating does not guarantee face or number-plate identification at that distance. Confirm the camera power standard, cable run and recorder firmware before installation.

Compatible Hikvision NVRs and CCTV Accessories

Complete your Hikvision CCTV installation with compatible network video recorders and accessories available from Nepean Micro Computers.

• Hikvision 8-Channel PoE NVR with 2TB HDD – An 8-channel recorder with integrated PoE ports for compatible IP cameras. Confirm the camera resolution, stream support, bandwidth and available recording channels for your system.

Ask Nepean Micro Computers about suitable junction boxes, mounting brackets, outdoor-rated network cabling, surveillance hard drives and power equipment for this model.

Check the camera’s PoE standard and power demand against the recorder’s per-port and total power budget before connecting. Multi-sensor and panoramic camera functions also require suitable recorder and firmware support.

Planning your installation

Allow for both video streams when sizing the NVR and check PoE+ capacity. Contact Nepean Micro Computers in Penrith for help matching the camera to your Hikvision NVR and mounting setup.
