Hikvision ColorVu 3.0 – Advanced Colour Night Vision

Hikvision ColorVu 3.0 technology is designed to provide detailed colour surveillance footage in low-light conditions.

The combination of a large image sensor, F1.0 lens and HikAI-ISP image processing helps capture more usable image detail while reducing noise.

This technology is particularly beneficial when monitoring entrances, driveways, shopfronts, warehouses, car parks and outdoor security areas.

Colour imaging performance depends on available lighting and the selected supplemental illumination mode.

HikAI-ISP – Intelligent Image Processing

The camera incorporates Hikvision's HikAI-ISP technology, which uses advanced image processing to improve video clarity.

Benefits include:

• Reduced image noise in low-light conditions

• Improved visibility of fine details

• Enhanced image clarity

• More effective processing of challenging scenes

Smart Hybrid Light – Infrared and White-Light Night Vision

The DS-2CD2387G3-LIS2UY/SL features integrated infrared and white-light illumination.

Smart Hybrid Light technology provides three supplemental lighting modes, allowing the camera to adapt to different surveillance requirements.

• Infrared Mode: Infrared illumination for discreet night-time surveillance.

• White-Light Mode: Visible illumination for colour imaging.

• Smart Mode: Intelligent switching between illumination modes when supported detection events occur.

The camera provides supplemental illumination up to 30 metres.

Actual night-time performance depends on the installation environment, ambient lighting and camera configuration.

Active Deterrence – Strobe Light and Audible Alarm

The Hikvision ColorVu 3.0 turret camera incorporates active deterrence functions designed to discourage unwanted activity.

The camera features:

• Built-in strobe warning light

• Integrated speaker for audible warnings

• Intelligent human and vehicle detection

• Configurable security event responses

When properly configured, supported security events can activate visual and audible warnings.

These features provide an additional security layer beyond conventional CCTV recording.

Two-Way Audio with Dual-Array Microphones

The camera includes built-in dual-array microphones and an integrated speaker.

When used with compatible Hikvision recording equipment and software, users can listen to activity and communicate through the camera.

This is useful for:

• Speaking with visitors

• Communicating with delivery personnel

• Monitoring building entrances

• Providing verbal security warnings

Two-way audio operation depends on compatible equipment, software and network configuration.

Intelligent Human and Vehicle Detection

The DS-2CD2387G3-LIS2UY/SL supports intelligent classification of people and vehicles using deep-learning technology.

This helps distinguish relevant activity from general environmental movement and can reduce unwanted motion alerts.

Supported detection functions and event responses depend on camera configuration, firmware and the connected recording system.

130dB Scene-Adaptive Wide Dynamic Range

The camera features 130dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), helping maintain image detail in scenes containing both bright and dark areas.

This is especially useful for entrances, windows, shopfronts and other locations where strong backlighting may otherwise affect image quality.

2.8mm Wide-Angle Lens

This listing is for the 2.8mm fixed-lens version.

The lens provides:

• Horizontal field of view: 108.8°

• Vertical field of view: 56.4°

• Diagonal field of view: 134.3°

Its wide field of view makes it suitable for general property surveillance, entrances, driveways, retail premises and outdoor areas.

Local microSD Storage and Network Recording

The camera includes a built-in memory card slot supporting compatible microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC cards up to 512GB.

It can also be used with compatible Hikvision network video recorders for centralised CCTV recording.

A memory card, NVR and Ethernet cable are not included unless separately specified.

Technical Specifications

Hikvision NVR Compatibility
