Panoramic Camera Compatibility
Before purchase, check that your NVR supports the camera’s 5120 × 1440 panoramic stream. An NVR advertised as supporting 8MP cameras may still have restrictions on panoramic resolutions. Confirm recording, live view, playback and event support for the exact recorder and firmware.
A wide view is useful for overall scene coverage; identification detail still depends on the subject distance, camera height and lighting. Aim the camera carefully and test the outer edges of the image during commissioning.
Installation Checklist
Check the complete field of view before final mounting. Avoid nearby walls or roof edges dominating the image, protect the cable connections, and test night-time lighting at the intended subject positions.
