Installation and Recording Advice

Check the NVR supports the camera resolution, compression format and required event functions. Protect outdoor cable connections with suitable weatherproof fittings. Position the camera for a clear view of faces and access routes, then test recording and alerts in daylight and at night.

For remote access, configure the network securely and use a unique password. Storage duration depends on image settings, recording schedule and drive capacity. Contact Nepean Micro Computers for help matching a recorder or mounting accessory.

Choosing the View

A wider lens setting covers more area; a narrower setting concentrates image detail on a smaller target zone. This is a bullet camera with a setup lens adjustment, so choose a PTZ model if you need remote pan and tilt movement.
