8MP 4K Ultra HD Resolution

The DS-2CD2186G2H-ISU provides a maximum resolution of:

3840 × 2160 – 8 Megapixel / 4K Ultra HD

At the Australian 50Hz setting, the camera supports up to 25fps at full 3840 × 2160 resolution, providing high-resolution video suitable for identifying people, vehicles and other important details.

Powered-by-DarkFighter Low-Light Technology

The DS-2CD2186G2H-ISU combines a large 1/1.8" sensor with an F1.0 aperture to provide excellent performance in low-light environments.

Minimum illumination is:

Colour: 0.0008 Lux @ F1.0, AGC ON
Black & White: 0 Lux with IR

Unlike Hikvision ColorVu cameras, this model uses infrared night vision and switches to black-and-white imaging in darkness when IR illumination is required.

AcuSense Human & Vehicle Classification

Hikvision's AcuSense deep-learning technology allows the camera to classify human and vehicle targets, helping distinguish important activity from other movement.

Intelligent functions include:

• Human detection
• Vehicle detection
• Line crossing detection
• Intrusion detection
• Region entrance detection
• Region exiting detection
• Face capture
• Scene change detection

Human and vehicle classification can be applied to supported motion and perimeter protection events.

2.8mm Wide-Angle Lens

The fixed 2.8mm F1.0 lens provides excellent wide-area coverage.

The wide field of view makes the camera particularly suitable for entrances, retail stores, offices, driveways, building exteriors and other areas requiring broad surveillance coverage.

Smart IR Night Vision – Up to 30 Metres

Built-in 850nm infrared illumination provides night vision up to 30 metres.

Smart Supplement Light technology helps control infrared illumination to improve image quality when subjects move closer to the camera.

Built-in Microphone

The ISU version features a built-in microphone for audio recording together with surveillance video.

The camera also provides:

• 1 × audio input
• 1 × audio output
• 1 × alarm input
• 1 × alarm output

This provides additional flexibility for professional CCTV installations requiring external audio or alarm devices.

130 dB True WDR

The camera features 130 dB Wide Dynamic Range, helping maintain detail when bright and dark areas appear within the same scene.

This is particularly useful when monitoring:

• Doorways
• Building entrances
• Windows
• Driveways
• Reception areas
• Areas affected by strong sunlight or backlighting

Local microSD Recording

The camera includes an onboard memory card slot supporting:

microSD / microSDHC / microSDXC cards up to 512GB

This provides local edge-storage capability in addition to recording to a compatible Hikvision NVR.

Video Compression

Supported compression formats include:

• H.265+
• H.265
• H.264+
• H.264
• MJPEG on supported streams

H.265+ can reduce network bandwidth and storage requirements compared with conventional video compression.

IP67 & IK10 Protection

The DS-2CD2186G2H-ISU is designed for demanding indoor and outdoor installations.

IP67 provides protection against dust and water ingress, while the IK10 vandal-resistant rating makes the dome housing suitable for locations where additional physical protection is desirable.

The camera's aluminium-alloy housing measures approximately Ø121.5 × 97.6mm and weighs approximately 525g.

Power & Network

• Network: RJ45 10/100Mbps Ethernet
• PoE: IEEE 802.3af, Class 3
• Maximum PoE Consumption: 9.5W
• Alternative Power: 12V DC
• Maximum 12V Consumption: 8W
• Operating Temperature: -30°C to 60°C

Ideal Applications

The Hikvision DS-2CD2186G2H-ISU is suitable for a wide range of CCTV applications including homes, retail stores, offices, warehouses, schools, building entrances, undercover areas, commercial premises and outdoor perimeter surveillance.

Its combination of 8MP 4K resolution, AcuSense intelligent detection, DarkFighter low-light performance, 30m IR, built-in audio and IK10 vandal protection makes it particularly suitable where image quality and camera durability are important.
