Installation and Recording Advice
Use a compatible IP NVR and confirm its recording resolution, codec and event support before installation. Set up detection zones and test them with someone walking through the scene during both day and night. Keep cable connections protected inside a suitable junction box.
For remote viewing, configure the network and Hik-Connect securely. A strong unique password and current firmware are recommended. Detection performance depends on mounting position, scene lighting and configuration.
